Hailing from the suburbs of Glasgow, Lloyd James Fay originally received acclaim as vocalist and guitarist of alt-rock quartet Thula Borah. Since their split in 2019, he has focused on his solo material with Fake Depth being his 2nd release to date, having already received support from the likes of Stereogum, The National and Radio Scotland, as well as playing festivals such as Celtic Connections.
